Emergency Orders

Governor Rick Scott issued an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency re: Hurricane Irma # 2017-235. In this order, he specifically referred to the restrictions of s. 465.0275(2), F.S., with regard to advanced supplies of Schedule II controlled substances.

This restriction was restated in Emergency Order 17-0002 issued by the Florida Division of Emergency Management.

The Florida Department of Health, in accordance with Executive Order 17‐235 has therefore extended license expiration deadlines for pharmacists and radiologic technologist licensees whose license expires at midnight on September 30, 2017.  The new licensure expiration date is midnight on October 30, 2017.  Unless another extension is granted, any active license not renewed before this time will go into a delinquent status.  Please continue to check for updated licensure expiration date information.
