Pharmacists Celebrated During October

Posted in Latest News on October 19, 2015.

National Pharmacy Week is Oct. 18-24, National Pharmacy Technician Day is Oct. 20 and the entire month is American Pharmacists Month.

Here’s a message from ASHP for National Pharmacy Week: Thank you for your efforts on behalf of patients and the profession! During Pharmacy Week we recognize the significant role that you play as a member of the healthcare team and celebrate all the ways that you improve care for your patients. Pharmacy Week is also a time to renew your commitment to ensuring that consumers know how to take their medicines safely.

ASHP’s new infographic, “5 Questions You Should Ask Your Pharmacist,” is an excellent tool to educate your patients and their families about how to stay safe as they take prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

October is American Pharmacists Month and Oct. 20 is National Pharmacy Technician Day. See more information on the American Pharmacists Association website.
