The Board of Pharmacy and Bureau of Enforcement are offering free CE to Florida-permitted pharmacies to assist with USP 797 compliance

The Florida Department of Health Bureau of Enforcement and the Florida Board of Pharmacy invite you to attend our second, follow-up meeting on USP-NF General Chapter Pharmaceutical Compounding – Sterile Preparations (i.e. USP ). Our first meeting was held on October 9, 2014, in conjunction with the October 1, 2014 adoption of Rule 64B16-27.797, F.A.C, by the Board of Pharmacy.

This meeting is designed to further assist Florida-permitted pharmacies in achieving and maintaining compliance with USP . Pharmacy inspectors will review the most common deficiencies they find in their inspections and will cover topics related to the Sterile Compounding Inspection Form.

When: Thursday, October 8, 2015; 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Where: Tampa Marriott Westshore, 1001 North Westshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607

Continuing Education: Five (5) hours of free, live CE credits will be provided by the Board of Pharmacy and reported to CE Broker on your behalf.

The deadline to pre-register is October 7, 2015. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
On-site registration will be available as space permits.

Fees: There are no registration fees to attend this meeting.
